Today, I feel proud to be a part of this country India. A mission that was made, the Chandrayaan-2 will land on the moon and will go to the South Pole side also. No country has ever gone to the South Pole side. This mission of the ISRO is nearing its most awaited landing. Everyone is excited for this landing. It’s a very big proud moment for the country.
I will tell you a bit in detail about this mission.
Chandrayaan-2 is an Indian lunar mission that will boldly go where no country has ever gone before- The Moon’s South Polar Region. Through this effort, the aim is to improve our understanding of the Moon- discoveries that will benefit India and humanity as a whole. These insights Nd experiences aim at a paradigm shift in how lunar expeditions are approached for years to come- propelling further voyages into the farthest frontier.
When the Chandrayaan-2 took off for the moon, there were expectations of the ISRO who had worked day and night to make this mission successful, the people of India, the government, etc as whether this mission will be successful or not.
Now today in the night the rocket will land on the Moon starting 11:30pm onwards.
The Moon is the closest cosmic body at which space discovery can be attempted and documented. Chandrayaan-2 attempts to foster a new age of discovery, increase our understanding of space, stimulate the advancement of technology, promote global alliance, and inspire a future generation of explorers and scientists. The Moon provides the best linkage to Earth’s early history. It offers an undisturbed historical record of the inner Solar system environment. Chandrayaan-2 will attempt to soft land the lander- Vikram and river- Progyan in high plaza in between two craters , Manzinus C and Simpelius N, at a latitude of about 70degree South.
I am proud of my country India and the ISRO Space Mission the Chandrayaan-2. It will be a historical landing and a proud moment for the country to witness the successful land of Chandrayaan-2 on the surface of the Moon.
