Today while reading the Vogue fashion magazine I came to read the editors letter. It was a very beautiful and amazingly written. I will share with you some lines from the letter.
We have come a long way. From growing up in a world where every imperfection was glossed over to now living in an age where our fralities are celebrated, and lines and scars welcome, is refreshing. It’s hard to say when our relationship with beauty changed, but until now we’ve spent much time and currency hiding any sign of the advancing years.
What do you see in the mirror when you wake up every morning? The face that looks back at you, sans makeup, I think, is the most honest form of you.
My takeaway from this month’s issue is that, things, and people, do get better with time.
It’s a motivating and inspiring letter.
