CCD OWNER DIES

Today, while going through the newspaper I read one of the news that CCD owner VG Siddhartha went missing on Monday. It was shocking to read this. A successful person like him goes missing was hard to digest.

He went missing while on his route to the coastal Mangaluru city in Karnataka, leaving behind a letter. The letter showed that he was under ‘tremendous pressure’ from lenders. Search operation is on under the bridge across the swollen Nethravathi river where 60-year old Siddhartha was last seen.

CCD chain owner Siddhartha is the son-in-law of former Karnataka chief minister and BJP leader SM Krishna was last seen near the bridge in the Kotepur area in Dakshina Kannada district on Monday night. Locals have also started searching for him.

While doing exercise when I switched on the TV the first thing came up was that after 30hours of search operation involving multiple agencies his body was found and he is dead. The body was found floating near Hoige Bazar at around6:30am. The body was shifted to Wenlock hospital where a post-mortem will be conducted. Siddhartha’s body will be taken to Chikkmagaluru after post-mortem where his last rites will be performed. It was very heartening to see his body. I was very sad. It got me into thinking that if he is under debt from lenders then maybe now that he is dead the CCD shops will be closed. It is possible in the near future, or maybe it is a murder. Somebody is behind the murder. Further investigation will probe the reason behind his death and the letter left behind by him. It is a very sad moment for CCD coffee lovers.
